P.6 Mock Interview Preparation

Speak-up courses were held from November to December 2021 to help boost up P.6 students’ spoken English competency. Zoom lessons were carried out after school. In early January, students received more skills during a sharing session in the school hall. Ms. Clarke further conducted interview preparation lessons for P.6 students in January. Three classes were taught face-to-face while the remaining classes were finished on Zoom. Students were given tips on body language, confidence and answering questions. They practiced using ‘wh’ questions to extend their answers and provide more details. Students thought the lesson was very helpful in improving their speaking skills.
